Terms of Service
Last updated 28 October 2026
- Guidenest is run by Sergio Franco, an individual (persona natural) based in Colombia.
- Paddle.com is the reseller and merchant of record for all purchases.
- Your content stays yours. You can export it and leave at any time.
- Don't use Guidenest for anything illegal or harmful.
1. Who we are
Guidenest ("Guidenest", "we", "us") is a software service operated by Sergio Franco, an individual seller (persona natural) based in Colombia. You can reach us at hello@guidenest.app.
These terms apply to the website guidenest.app, the Guidenest app, the manual sites it publishes, and any plan or product you buy from us (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, joining the waitlist or buying anything, you agree to these terms. If you use Guidenest for a company, you confirm you can accept these terms for it.
2. What Guidenest does
Guidenest turns documents such as handbooks, process manuals and onboarding guides into private, searchable websites, or builds them from templates. Some features use artificial intelligence to draft, restructure or check content. Features differ by plan, as described on the pricing page.
3. Purchases and payments
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
- Subscriptions (Pro, Team, Business and the Premium AI add-on) renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- One-time products (the template site and the AI-designed site) are paid once and include hosting of that one site for as long as the Service runs.
- Prices are shown in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies.
- We may change prices for new purchases. If we change the price of your subscription, we will email you at least 30 days before the change applies to you.
4. Refunds
Refunds are described in our refund policy.
5. Your account
Keep your sign-in details safe and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite as editors or readers.
6. Your content
You keep all rights to the documents and content you upload or create ("Your Content"). You give us permission to store, process, display and transform Your Content only as needed to run the Service for you, including sending it to the AI and hosting providers listed in our privacy policy. We do not use Your Content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.
You confirm that you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not break any law or anyone else's rights. You can export Your Content and delete your account at any time.
7. AI features
AI can make mistakes. Suggestions are shown for your review before they are published, AI-made changes are marked, and every card links to the part of your document it came from. You are responsible for checking content before you publish it, especially rules, policies and anything with legal, safety or financial effect.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- publish content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or that harms children;
- infringe copyright, trademarks or other rights, or publish other people's personal data without a lawful basis;
- spread malware, phish, spam, or attack or overload the Service or other systems;
- create deceptive content, including content that impersonates real people or organisations or uses a real person's likeness without consent;
- resell or give access to the Service as a marketplace or as part of another hosting service without our written permission;
- break any law or any rule of our payment provider Paddle.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and your data backed up, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. If we ever shut the Service down, we will give you at least 60 days' notice to export your content and refund any unused prepaid period.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. After an account is closed, we delete Your Content within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep records.
11. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not give warranties beyond those set out in these terms, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protections of the laws of the country where you live. We will always try to solve a problem by email first.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email account holders at least 14 days before it applies. The date at the top shows the latest version.
